We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong knowledge of NestJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable backend systems, efficient APIs, and well-structured integrations within a modern headless architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Design, build, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Implement third-party integrations and manage authentication, API services, and data flows.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration with NextJS and other headless frameworks.
- Write maintainable, well-structured, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, providing effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements.
- Ensure backend systems are optimized for scalability, performance, and security.
- Work with project managers and cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Requirements (Must-Haves):
- 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in NestJS and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with REST API development and GraphQL.
- Experience with third-party service integrations.
- Sound understanding of backend architecture and scalable system design.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- R&D-driven mindset with the capability to explore, validate, and implement technical solutions independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with international clients.
- Ability to take ownership and deliver completed work with accountability.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Redis and Redis-based queuing mechanisms.
- Knowledge of accessibility fundamentals, including WCAG guidelines as they apply to backend and API workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with MACH architecture principles.
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub profile.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Salary Range:
- BDT 45,000 – BDT 65,000 (based on skills and experience)
